Weekend

Oh my gosh, after being as broke as Humpty Dumpty the last two weekends, it was so nice to actually be able to go out and spend a little cash!! 🙂

On Saturday, we took my suegra to the mall. I was very surprised that Jose ended up going, since the mall involves lots of walking and spending money, two of the things he hates most.

We started our journey at JCPenny, where I was very disappointed in the lack of good sales. I’ve been spoiled with the recent 75% all clearance, so the 65% off regular prices just wasn’t cutting it. I bought Livie an outfit and Isabel some undies. Next, the Childrens Place. My favorite store EVER. That’s where all the good sales were!! They’re having the 50% the lowest price sale, which makes for some grea prices! I got Isabel two outfits and Karina’s daughter and outfit for $20! 🙂 My suegra bought some stuff at Bath & Body Works, we ate some lunch at the Food Court, and then we headed home.

Yesterday, we went to the greyhound races over at Horseshoe casino. Talk about excitement! 😉 It was a pretty profitable outing, though! Jose hit a trifecta (3 dogs that placed, in order) for $449.50!! Not bad on a $2 bet. We went to Golden Corral (Yummy!!) with his mom and the girls to celebrate. 🙂 LoL, now we can work on getting plates on the car!!!

How did everyone else’s weekend go?? Good I hope!!

Well … my weekend wasn’t as 449.50 good as yours was (lucky) but I am going in debt more.

An elderly friend of mine is selling a car that belongs to her daughter in need of $2000 quickly for some reason. This car is a ’98 Chrysler Sebring; a silver convertible in good condition with a black top and really pretty rims. And I’ve been complaining about how much gas is costing to fill the Cadillac.

So when I found out this weekend that the car is for sale for $2000 and blue books for $2900-$3400, I trotted off to the bank. I always have a tag line too. My opening for this loan was, “I have $2000 dollars but I don’t wanna use mine. I wanna use yours”.

The truth is I can’t afford to use mine, the bank ain’t dumb, I’m sure they know but I’ll find out if I’m approved or not tomorrow.

A friend of mine nearly gave me a heart attack but after she took 3 pregnancy tests, it was a false alarm. She doesn’t need anymore babies.

I talked to my soon to be sister-in-law and tried to get along with her, that’s up in the air. We just have too much bad blood between us maybe? I don’t know. I’ll be happy if I get the car though 🙂 LOL That’s all I have on my brain now.

    Congrats on the $
