Forced Bloggism.

I’m MAKING myself write this blog…  LoL, I’ve gotten so out of the habit lately that the words just aren’t flowing as freely as they once did.  I’m hoping I’ll gain steam as I go along and will be back to where I was (a couple entries a day!  ;) ) within a week or two.

I just want to say that the Once Upon a Child in Omaha (cosignment store) is freakin’ awesome.  I’ve found so many good deals lately!  See, with Chavela, it requires quite a bit more effort to buy her clothing than it does to buy stuff for Olivia.  Chavela is a little on the llenita side of the spectrum, so chances are if the pants fit in the waist then they are going to be waaay too long for her.  Plus size little girls clothing is our savior.  But, in a 6 or 7, its almost impossible to find in stores.  Trust me.  I’ve tried Target, Wal-Mart, Childrens Place, Gymboree, Gap, JCPenny…

Anyways…

Last week, I got a BRAND NEW pair of Gymboree jeans (from one of the current lines, with a price tag of $34.50!) for ten bucks.  They are a size 6+ and I have never, ever seen a pair of jeans fit this child so perfectly!

Today, I found two pairs of Gap jeans, size 6+.  These are even roomier in the waist than the Gymboree jeans, just have a little shorter inseam.  They still fit her great, though, and they were $9 each.  A little pricier than thrift store shopping, but WAAAAY cheaper than retail price ($30+!).

And, today I also bought Olivia a pair of SUPER CUTE winter boots for $4.  These things look like they have never been worn!  

Shopping excites me…

Two weeks ago it was freezing cold and I panicked because I had NOTHING to put on the girls.  Now, I’ve bought them some really cute stuff and its in the 80s!  :D  Oh well…  More time to stock their wardrobe’s, I guess!

Sorry to ramble so much about shopping.  With Little Man working out of town, my days pretty much consist of shopping and the internet.

I’m 100% addicted to playing Neopets…  If you’re wondering what I’ve been doing the last month or so, that’s exactly what I’ve been up to.

Jose is in Boston working…  I miss him.  I miss him a lot.  But, he was offered a decent job with good pay and good benefits.  He decided some time away from his psycho family would not be a bad thing, and he took the job.

I paid off two credit cards today.  I paid off his JCPenny card, which was carrying a whopping $174 and I paid off his Mastercard, which was $205.  Isn’t that awesome?!  Two whole bills I don’t even have to worry about any more!! 

Sorry to be short…  I need to get back in the hang of this whole blogging thing.  :)  Miss y’all!!

Hello everyone!

The bloggin’ world seems to have slowed down a bit lately.  It must be everyone adjusting to their new fall schedules, especially those with kids going into school and all. 

Things here are the same old, same old.  Jose is working his buns off, and me and the girls are staying at home for now.  No school on the horizon for us until next fall.  Poor Isabel is so excited to start school, I don’t think she can wait another year!    Her BFF started kindergarden and she asks me everyone morning when is she going to go to school like Juli! 

My suegra is still pretending nothing ever happened.  Whatever.  She can play that game as long as she likes.  I’ll be nice to her and all out of respect because she IS Jose’s Mom, but it ends there.  No more favors.  No more rides.  No more loans.  She can have Lupe help her out.

LoL, someone just left me a comment on my last entry telling me how “ghetto” me and my people are.  And they sent it from a made up e-mail address.  Really, if you’re going to insult someone on the net, have some balls and leave some real contact information.  Don’t be all cowardly about it and leave anonymous comments on a blog! 

Whew… I just got done making the apartment company ready.  Omar and Ana might be stopping by tomorrow…  I cleaned my butt off!!  Isabel keeps telling me how clean everything is!  LoL!
